Merit
The World Business Award for Innovation recognises organisations that have made significant contributions to their industry through the introduction or improvement of an idea, method, technology, process or application resulting in an economic, environmental, educational and/or social benefit. Organisations are required to demonstrate the project or initiative across the key areas of Objectives, Research & Development, Planning, Leadership & Strategy, Execution & Implementation, Performance Results, Industry Contributions and Achievements. Achievements can include but are not limited to economic, societal, scientific or environmental contributions. The World Business Awards utilise a rigorous and dynamic framework to ensure that the assessment process is pertinent, objective, free of bias or influence.
Scope
Entry is open to Private Companies, Public Companies, Multi-National Corporations, Non-Government Organisations, Educational Institutions and Franchise Systems. The World Business Awards are conducted annually and provide the opportunity for organisations to have their projects, initiatives, contributions and achievements recognised on a prominent and far-reaching scale. Submitting an entry provides the opportunity to benchmark against top performers globally. The World Business Award Winners are acknowledged as industry leaders and named the elite of their industry. The Awards provide the ultimate platform for improving brand awareness, loyalty and retention by increasing the respective organisation's exposure, recognition and prestige. The selected organisations are able to leverage their achievement through various conventional and progressive multimedia channels, maximising ROI on marketing, promotion, advertising and public relations activities including internal and external communications. This is a valuable resource that can be used extensively to create opportunities for publicity, positive organisational profiling and heightened brand awareness within the international marketplace.
